The Externals - Chapter Eleven

Happy International Day Of The Girl Child😁😍 Khadijat and some other GMC students didn't go home directly after closing. Instead, they went to the Hospital to check on Lily who was lying near her dad's sickbed when they arrived. One of the nurses who liked her told them she had been crying and was delighted she cheered up after hearing the story of how the "Agbado Champions" defeated "The Johnson Eagles, especially because Aza was the superhero of the day. That was because she had been trying to convince him to partake in manly activities. Even after others had returned home, Khadijat stayed behind to gist Lily about "the handsome oyinbo boy" schooling at Johnson College. She told her about how mesmerized she was by his cuteness, that she had offered to help him write his chemistry note once just to get close to him. Although that didn't happen, Khadijat was still more determined to make that happen. There had not been a time when new people did

The Agbado Champions🙄🙄🙄 Schooling at Johnson College wasn't as fun-filled as GMC final year students expected it to be. Their new classmates wouldn't stop mocking them because of their school building and only few of them could afford the meals sold in the cafeteria. Then again, they were solely responsible for the cleaning of the classroom and markerboard. The most annoying part was that their homeroom teacher raised no objection to the oppression these poor students suffered. During lunch, Zach and Omma went to check on Lily at the hospital. Omma was Lily's classmate who loved acting like the mother of the whole class in book one and Zach was her neighbor's stepson who had a crush on Lily.  Omma didn't get to follow the rest when they visited Lily the previous day because she had a terrible headache. Zach on the other hand, didn't get to know of the incident till a late hour. "Oh my God! Thank you so much for coming", Lily smiled when she saw t

Quinn knew better than to get his hopes up when it comes to Nigerian matters yet wished the school Miss Adebamigbe planned on registering him into at least had a basketball court. To his utmost surprise, it didn't even have a mini football court. It was so small that his bathroom back in the U.S was bigger than the proprietor's office. Yet, the twins claimed it was the best in their neighborhood. The day Quinn did his registration was the same day Grace Model College experienced a heart-wrenching fall. Since there was a cordial relationship between both schools, the proprietor of Johnson College visited that of GMC. Miss Adebamigbe had earlier informed him the presence of Johnson's proprietor would speed up his admission process since they were childhood friends so Quinn was happy he wasn't around. Later, he was disappointed because that didn't stop his admission because the admission officers were of course fascinated by the idea of having a white kid in their sch

Grounded😪😪😪 Prior to the time Mary told Quinn to come out for breakfast, she had let a bunch of real foul mouthed people into the house because they begged to see a white boy for the first time and even paid her for it. As if that wasn't enough, some of them had body odors and were quite unruly so before they could all get a feel of his skin or hair texture, they made him collapse. Thank God at least one of them knew how to restitute him, else something worse would have happened. Mary got grounded again but this time, she didn't care. Despite the stress Mrs. Kunbi went through to make a burger breakfast for Quinn, he said it wasn't fit for consumption after taking a bite which he later spat back into his plate and dumped the rest in the waste bin. Mrs. Kunbi was angry but there was nothing she could do to him because he was her guest. She still offered to make him another food but he turned her down and gave Martha some dollars instead, to help him get a fine American
